Dungeon Tap does not collect, transmit, share, or sell any personal data.
What the app stores
Your progress — floors completed, equipment, settings, best times, and the replay “ghosts” of your own runs — is written to local files inside the app’s own container on your device. Nothing is uploaded. Deleting the app deletes all of it.
What the app does not do
- No accounts. The game never asks who you are.
- No analytics, no tracking, no advertising. There are no third-party SDKs of any kind in the app.
- No network requests of its own. Apart from the Apple services below, the app does not talk to the internet at all — it is fully playable offline, in airplane mode, forever.
Apple services
Two features are provided by Apple rather than by us. We never see the data involved; it is handled under Apple’s Privacy Policy.
- In-app purchase. The one-time “Unlock Full Game” purchase is processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We never see your payment information. Whether you own the unlock is verified on your device by StoreKit.
- Game Center (optional). If you choose to sign in, your best times and achievements are submitted to Apple’s Game Center so leaderboards work. This is the only information that leaves your device, it is associated with your Game Center account rather than with us, and declining sign-in leaves the game entirely playable — nothing is submitted at all.
Diagnostics you choose to send
Settings has a Send diagnostics button. It gathers what the game logged during the current session — app version, device model, iOS version, and events such as which floor you cleared or died on — shows the full text on screen, and then lets you pick where it goes. The app never transmits it on its own, nothing is uploaded in the background, and the report contains no identity: no name, no account, no device identifier that follows you.
Children
The game contains no ads, no chat, no user-generated content, and no links out to the web. Beyond the optional Apple services above, there is nothing for a child (or anyone) to disclose.
Your rights
Because no data ever reaches us, there is nothing for us to disclose, correct, retain, or delete on your behalf. If you would like your Game Center data removed, that is managed through your Apple Account settings.
Changes
If a future version of the app changes what it collects, this page is updated before that version ships, and the date above changes with it.
